Alas, getting to the website & after a couple minutes of surfing around, I realised that TeamManager Lien & Jme had already posted too! Ok I'm supposed to start a thread & not complain about getting cheated.

Well honestly, I don't get the govt. You see them spending such money on a HUGE, lemme correct that, Asia's largest Ferris Wheel, to attract more people to Singapore. One ride takes 37 minutes or so I heard. What in the world is this? Maybe if they didn't build it, & with half of that amount of money they spent, these girls going to Spain would have been subsidised a whole lot more & I'm sure it'd be a huge load of burden off their shoulders. TSK.

& if you're a faithful reader of TNP, you would know that they spent about 15 000 SGD on a temporary ice rink for a ONE NIGHT event. Horrid I must say. They could've used that 15 000 SGD to expand the Jurong Ice Rink, give it a new coat of ice or donate it to us to do something about the Millennium Court. For example, get new fencing, patch up those damned holes, get a shelter built over the court so rainy days are no longer a problem! (:

I was telling miss roadburn the other night that we should have started pushing for sponsorship earlier, like before they had the blueprints of the New National Stadium done up. They could easily fit an indoor rink in the new facility for us! Think no more shredded hockey pants, no use for a 3-month change of curves & wheels! With the arena, everyone will play more & when awareness is created, that's when you get the sponsors rolling in!

For all that dreaming to become reality, our dear dear National team, go on, go to Spain & show them your prowess, kick some (if not all) asses!! Even though this time I couldn't make it to play, be assured that I'll be supporting you girls a long way from home, & I'd make sure everyone else does the same thing. I'll try get, uh, some hot-drop-dead-gorgeous guy to kiss the top-scorer when you girls come back!! Lol, emphasized word is TRY! Haha.
