Point of no return

Embedded Gallery2 is not available.
Ok, we are at it. Once you book a flight and going to pay for it, thats usually the first time you realize there's no way back. After bugging the travel agent endlessly -i keep telling myself if the agent had to sell 18 seperate tickets she would have had to go through a lot more trouble but still ... every time I call to ask for a change I can't help feeling being that nasty customer (the moment she puts down the phone she probably starts raving to her collegues about "those hockey girls with their bookings to Bilbao").

Anyway! Yes the seats are booked, if only the world championships were organised in another month, it would have probably saved a lot of trouble AND money. July is just that one month where in Europe everybody suddenly feels the urge to travel just because it is the longest schoolholiday and because most companies in Europe close their offices in July -for about 3 weeks (?!? uhu!).

Now all we have to do is train hard hard hard and all I have to do is (train hard too just for the support and also) think about nice places to hang out in Bilbao when there is no game, just in case there is time for that... So far my attempt to make roadburn a bit less lonely here, come on girls SAY something, you all are not THAT shy! your -can we think of another word please? it makes me feel old- teammanager Lien

Yes yes, it's a done deal.

Yes yes, it's a done deal. Thank you Lien, for arranging the tickets. I can imagine how tough it is, trying to please 15 girls. :) and yes, I think the tix are really quite expensive, it's a pity we're not sponsored by any airline. Of course, I always dream of being sponsored by our national airline. How cool it will be to represent Singapore and fly SIA! Let's just continue to train hard and give our best in Spain. Go GIRLS!
