Team Sunday started out originally as Team Comets, one of the first all girls inline hockey team in Singapore. Through the years, (as suicidal as it may sound) they have braved many matches against the mens teams, and in recent years women tournaments as well. In fact most of the Comets were crucial in forming the first ever inline hockey team to represent Singapore at the 2003 FIRS World Championships held in Pisek, Czech Republic.

Their hockey adventures continued on to the 2004 FIRS World Championships in London, Ontario Canada, and the latest overseas experience at the 2005 YMCA Hong Kong Invitational where they returned with Silver medals in hand.
